Bay Radio organises regular live events in and around Aberystwyth, with DJs, bands and more always creating a good night out.

Our next live event takes place at The Angel on 15th March 2010, kicking off at 7pm.

We've got an awesome night lined up, with the following 5 bands. After the bands our DJ's will be playing everything from Metal to Dubstep, at our parties we like to fill the void The Bay left playing everything yokos and the pier don't with some others thrown in.

Stereoflex:
Currently the band with the biggest buzz in Aber, Stereoflex are a duo combining decks and drums to produce a sound that makes you shake that moneymaker!

Decadence in Berlin:
"New Order-esque arty-pop from Telford" Forming in 2006, the Telfordian band blend a mix of Joy Division aestheticism and a lyrical approach akin to the Moldy Peaches, however, the band have a range of influences ranging from eighties post-punk outfits such as Gang of Four, to the musical Cabaret, to the TV output of Harry Hill. The band truly stands out among their contemporaries on the Midlands scene for their sideways take on popular music. Decadence in Berlin’s aim is simple – to make you smile and move your feet.

The Unknown:
A 7-piece local band (formally Triattica) that combines a variety of instruments including trumpets, trombones and a saxophone giving them a ska/reggae/jazz kind of feel. They describe themselves as "dismembering musical styles like sick kids ripping legs from insects, stuffing the assorted limbs inside a giant oyster until they meld into an egg shaped orange pearl". Performing with fun and feeling they will get you up and dancing and are definitely not to be missed.

The 95th:
New local band The 95th are just starting to gig around Aber town, come along and see what you think :)

Kevin Levingston:
A Singer/Songwriter from Ireland. This guy, along with his guitar, puts all his energy and passion into his set of original songs. And throws in a couple of covers just for good measure!
